Man what some people do to rig up stuff. I found this today on the truck, it's been kinda starting funny lately and decided to do some digging. Well under a bunch of tape I find this good stuff.




Needless to say I cut all this out and had plenty to just squeeze a new ring on the end. This wire goes on the bottom side of the solinoid on the starter relay on under the hood on the passenger side wall. Truck is back to starting up right even though I still have my phantom click

I was just informed on another board this is a fusable link and meant to be set up the way it was. I had no idea and not sure If I should put it back they way it was or not. Anyone know why it is set up this way?
