Another oil question

My truck has been faithfuly running Rotella 15w-40 but where its getting older I want to use the 5w-40 . Where I have been using the regular stuff for so long will it hurt to go synthetic? Will it use oil if I do this? Any and all info on this would be great. Thanks.

So no extra oil consumption? Thats cool thanks. I don't want to get in an argument on oils but is the Mobil 1 ok?

Just remember that the full synthetics have a tendency to leak a little more than conventional oils. I have seen all too many times where you suddenly "develop" a leak after switching.

This may be a stupid question but if it starts leaking the synthetic can I go back to the regular oil or is it to late once the leak starts?

No leaks but I am having hard starts on cold mornings even though the entire glow plug system is working.
