door switch

2002 Ford F350. When I open the drivers door the interior lights are suppose to come on and they do. When i close the door they are suppose to go out. They do not. Also the icon on the dash that says a door is open stays lit. Sometimes it goes out other times it stays on all the time. Also they key chime still dings until the swtich says they door is closed. Please help me. I dont see a switch in the door like on OBS trucks. where is the switch.

On my 2001 the switch is located behind the door latch on the door. I sprayed WD-40 in every crack making sure to point up becasue I believe it is on top. Spray it real good then open and close the door repeatedly. Had the same problem...this fixed it!
