Anyone used this???????
FS-2500 :: Bypass Oil Filter System
I've seen this in diesel power and other places and read all through their website. It seems like a very legit product that would save me $100-200 a year on oil changes. It seems like you just have to change the filter on it every 10000 miles and the oil is good for greater than 50000 miles. |

ive heard of people using it. but i want to see lots of actual real world usage data before i ever do it. $100 - $200 is a lot less than a slowly destroyed motor.
i have seen a guy here clain he had 50k on his change. i would like to see a blackstone report on his oil... |

filter ok for 10000 miles......sure.
oil good for 50000 miles......surely not. however, looks like a great system, the demo is great and it seems pretty impressive. |

Gulf Coast Filters, Inc. Specializing in Bypass Oil filters, Fuel filters, Hydraulic filters and Custom filtering take a look at this brand of by-pass filter. I had an older version on my 95 f150 . It worked great , the oil was only slightly darkened after 6000 miles.. Oil was cheap back then ,so I changed my oil at 6000 miles. The neat thing about it was, the filter element was a roll of Scott's toilet paper.I could have run the oil longer but like I said, it was cheap to change.I looking to put it on my F250 PSD come spring time. I plan to keep the oil changes at 6000 miles but I'll have cleaner oil and only have to add 1 more quart of oil.
