Air Horn mounting location

Wondering where you guys have your air horns mounted, and your compressor/tanks, I would like to put it into a toolbox in the bed, but I have been looking at toolboxes, and they are freaking expensive, gonna be cruising CL.

I've got my horns mounted on the frame rail just behind the rear door, and my compressor and air tank in the tool box, but you don't have to mount the compressor and tank in a tool box, they'll be fine on the frame rail, just try to tuck them up close to the floor board of the truck

I mounted my horns and tank on frame rails under cab and the compressor inside the truck behind the back seat.

If you look hard enough, it's easy to find a toolbox on craigslist for $50-100

Found a nice looking one for $60 for a tacoma, might be able to modify to fit 69'' width...

And I thought drilling the frame was a bad idea? Or at least the old man said he wouldn't do it.

If you do some peeking around there should be some holes already there that work. Otherwise you can make a bracket that attaches to those holes.
