How many qts on a tranny pan pull & converter drain

I just installed a new converter this week and now want to replace the tc solenoid in the morning b/c I still have a lock up problem.
Anyway, I am pulling the pan and will drain the converter. I bought 13 qts of Mercon V and the deep filter. Am I right on both????????????????????
My luck these days I will need the shallow filter and 15 qts of Dex III

Later Skater

I would put 10 in it. while youre foot is on the break slowly shift thru the gears stopping for a bit at each one. Do this from park all the way to 1 and than from 1 all the way to park. you should start to feel the change. Than check level and add.
