HELP! Tail Lights and dash lights stopped working

I just bought a 99 f-250 powerstroke last weekend. On my way home i pulled out of the gas station and the dash lights quit working (just the ones the dimmer switch controls) and the rear running lights. Everything else works fine brake lighs, head lights ect. Would these be controled by the same fuse, if so which one? Anything else I can check for if its not a fuse? Electrical problems scare me and I hope there is an easy solution since I just got the thing Thanks guys
