I know a guy that goes to my school and currently drives his dad's prevoius truck. It's a 2001 F-250 ExCab short bed with a 5 speed. The truck has 360,000 miles on it and is starting to need the thing that a truck needs at that many miles. Well instead of spending the few hundred bucks and fixing it he wants to get a 2007 Chevy with a Duramax. It almost saddens me to see someone to switch brands like that after having suck a reliable truck. (btw all parts are original factory even the clutch.)

those dmaxs seem very nice. i know people bash them but all the guys i know that have one love them. they have great power.

what year was the emissions required? 07? 08? if it has the emissions stuff talk him back into his 7.3
