Dr. Performance - 1.877.338.7373 but that is for the people who want to spend money. i would say just slot the plastic with a dremel instead of cutting it all the way out. that would still deflect rain and solids but allow decent flow depending on ur design

i actually did the zoodad mod last tuesday. today it rained like hell. i was very worried about water getting in. i think i made the hole a little too big. when i got home i checked out the snorkel with a flash light and there was water drops in there. the filter wasnt soaked nor was there sitting water in there or anything but i did get a little in there. then again it rained pretty hard, almost had to stop because i couldnt see. i have no filter or cover over the hole. hope that helps.

hadnt had much time to spend on the site this weekend but i was able to do my zoodad mod friday. I got a 1 inch hole saw deal, ya know what im talking about, and drilled 6 holes in the plastic or w/e it is. then i did as stump said and cut out a piece of screen and 4 screws and bam zoodad was finished. took about 15 minutes and i swear to it that my truck is running better. seems to idle a whole lot better
im gonna take the grille back off and paint the screws b/c right now there silver but i didnt think about that when i did it. next to come is guages and a diy intake and a ts chip!!!

I did mine about a month ago. I made a hole with a drill bit where I wanted to start, then cut the rest out with a jigsaw. I cut the hole bigger than a lot I've seen on here, but I wanted it to be at least as big as the air intake tunnel. I don't have a screen or anything covering it right now. Heck it's in the 105's here, so I'm not worried about rain for awhile, as far as bugs, that's what the filter is for! I'm getting much better milage per tank than I used to, don't have exact numbers ready yet, still doing the stats!

I did one a week ago, havent seen any diff in mileage or power. I used a gutter gaurd with screen to shield the hole. It still looks like it will get water in the filter but I figure if it does I will close it back off.

i havent noticed any difference except the sound and thats barley noticeable. wouldnt a screen hold some water? looking out my windoiw when it rains it appears the whole window screen collects the water. that puts it in a perfect place to be sucked in.?
