Adding Auto Lamps???

My 97 F150 Lariot had the auto lamps that would keep the lights on after you get out of the truck for a set period of time and also when it got dark they would click on...

... Do the higher optioned Lariots have this option? Can it be added in somewhat easily??

All I can think of that it would need is the timer control, the daylight sensor, and new headlight/timer switch.. Thanks if anyone can "shed some light" on this subject

hrmm... I guess that means either the Super Duty Lariots didn't come with it or no one has ever tried adding it

I don't know what would be involved with adding them. My 02 XLT had them but my 00 doesnt. I'd like to know too.

I loved that feature on my 97 F150 - and heck, the interior door controls stay lighted until I open the door - so there has to be something in there already..

All I would think is that if you could get the parts from a donor truck (switch, light sensor, wiring, & possibly a control module) it wouldn't be too dang hard...

I'll see what I can dig up or find... maybe if Marc sees this he will know the parts needed...
