coolant filter kit

I wanted to know where to get a filter for the bypass filter kit offered my dieselsite. I have the kit but i want a FORD filter not a baldwin filter. I run all motorcraft filters and i know some will call me dumb but i want a ford filter. Baldwin number is B5134. I want the Ford number E7NN-8A469-AA. please send me in the right direction.

Baldwin or Donaldson are both good quality products. We use them on our marine diesels without issue.

I don't think Ford makes a coolant filter. Baldwin is all I use in my Coolant filter. Make sure to get the one with no SCA additives and remember to test your coolant unless you were smart and used the ELC .

I figured i would get these responses. The number is a ford number but it is used on a tractor. A Ford 6710 to be exact. I cant find a source for Ford tractor filters. I dont want to run a Baldwin filter or anyother brand. I want a Ford filter. I know some oil filters cross from trucks to cars to tractors. I was hoping this would as well.

The Ford 6710 is not a coolant filter, it's some sort of cannister-type filter.

However, the E7NN-8A469-AA filter is a coolant filter. It's equivalent to the Baldwin B4134 and Wix/Napa 4070 coolant filters without the SCAs. You just have to find a Ford dealership that will order the part for you. Once you find a source, order a bunch and be happy.

Here's one place where you can apparently get a quote, then order: Performance Filtration, Inc. Parts List - FORD

Good luck.

Al
