CODE 1212 ICP VOLTAGE NOT AT EXPECTED LEVEL.

ON THE CODE 1212 SOMETIMES IT STARTS SOMETIMES IT DONT, HOT OR COLD IT DOESNT MATTER THIS IS THE FIRST CODE IT THROWS AND SOMETIMES IT THROWS AN IPR CODE................AND A EXHAUST BACK PRESSURE CODE ........ANY HELP I WOULD APPRECIATE IT....

do u know where the ipr is? its in the front of the valley sits on a rod has a nut that holds it in place check and see if the nut is tight and not missing im looking on shopkey now for what else to do i need all the codes u r getting

ok disconect the icp plug and try to start the truck if it starts the icp is bad if not it may be something else pm me if this dont work ill give u mu number and u can call me and ill talk u through it

MANY THANKS TO CRASH FOR BEING ON THE PHONE FOR HOURS HELPING ME IT WAS THE IPR VALVE AND IT RAN GOOD FOR A FEW DAYS ON MY TRIP OUT OF TOWN.......NOW IM HAVING THE PCM REPLACED IT IS BAD ALSO STILL RUNS BUT THROWING OTHER CODES SO AFTER $120.00 LATER I FOUND OUT IT IS BAD SO.........$700.00 FOR PCM THE PRICE YOU PAY FOR A DIESEL......THANKS CRASH FORALL THE HELP SORRY 4 NOT GETTIN RIGHT BACK AT YA BUT I HAVE BEEN OUT OF TOWN ....

PCM COME FROM A PARTS DISTRIBUTOR THAT SELLS USED PARTS IN TOWN HERE........COME OFF A USED TRUCK, BUT WITH VERY LOW MILES SO I PICKED IT UP. THE DEALER WAS MORE THAN I COULD HANDLE......................BUT ITS RUNNIN LIKE NEW THANKS FOR ALL THE HELP..............DEALER WANTED 1200.00 FOR THE PART ....BUT I GOT THE USED 1 FOR 700.00 AND A 1 YEAR UNLIMITED MILE WARRANTY SAME AS THE NEW 1 FROM THE DEALER ...........BY THE WAY GOOD LOOKIN TRUCK YA HAVE THERE...........DID I TELL YA I HAD A 2006 6.0 F250..........I SPENT 2800.00 TO GET ALL THE BUGS OUT OF IT..........NOW ITS BULLET PROOF......WITH MY FREE LABOR DOIN ALL THE WORK..........THANKS AGAIN ILL POST SOME PICKS SHORTLY OF BOTH OF MY TRUCKS.........

another tell tail sign down the road is if there is Oil in the ICP its toast..a quick way like he said is to jsut unplug it and it will default to max and allow the truck to start..
