Need advice quick! What alternator replace

Truck in shop for faulty alternator. Napa refurb recommended for 245. They found a new one for 295. What should I do? He said he could look for a Motorcraft if I preferred. Suggestions?

Just daily driver and may tow a little jon boat. Nothing crazy going on here.

can't really go wrong either way, the napa re-man probably has a warranty anyway so if it were to have kick the bucket you could just trade if for another one. Just up to you and your wallet!
