CPS recall

Hey ive just purchased my f250 earlier this year, and was looking up recalls on the vehicle and came across the CPS recall. If i were to take it to the ford dealership to have the CPS swapped out would they honor the recall free of charge, or is there a time limit? Also how would i find out if the previous owner had already taken care of the CPS recall.

Is your cruise not working or something? If everything works fine I wouldn't mess with it.

yeah if it isn't giving you trouble don't mess with it, we got ours done on a recall when we had the cruise control thing done , it was the original one with 170,000 miles on it and in the last 10,000 since that we've been through 3 more... makes me wonder how long the original would've lasted
