7.3 Rebuild

So I have replaced the motor in my 2000 f250 and I'm getting ready to rebuild the old one and I have it torn to the block pulled out and shatterd/partially melted piston..this. all started when my oil pressure regulater went out but anyhow all the other cylinders still look good still has the hatching on the cylinder walls but that on its scared up pretty bad and trying to figure out what the best rout would be bore it and sleeve it or just use bigger pistons? I know that you can boree it to much cause the cylinder walls aren't real thick at all so I'm open to suggestions......and are ther any numbers or anything stamped on the block anywher that might tell me when it was made or the type of internals are in it....cause I've been told the 99 was the last year of the 7.3 to have stock forged internals........

Somewhere in 01 was the last time they used forged con rods. There's a list of serial numbers here that says which ones do and don't have em
