Question Some 7.3 Help PLEASE!

Ok, so Monday my friend will be picking up a 1999 7.3 for his new truck. The truck already has gauges, exhaust, intake, and chip. Our plan for the truck was to immediately take the chip out to be sent off to Power Hungry Performance for tunes of our choice. Good idea?

The other thing we had planned for the truck was a 7in single angle cut (mitre) cut stack. The truck already has 4in Silverline exhaust with the muffler still on it. We plan on removing the muffler for the stack, straight pipe is the only way to go lol Now I have never done a stack, but I was looking on Alligator Performance and found a 4in Universal Stack Bend. Will this work with the silverline exhaust? Will it line up correctly? Another thing is that we wanted a nice MBRP Chrome 7in stack. I havent found a 7in stack with a 4in inlet, so I need some help finding one. One more question is, do we need any kind of bracing for the stack to stay in place?

I know that I own a Duramax and the Duramax is my favorite diesel. Now a PowerStroke is also my favorite diesel, seeing that I spent most of my childhood in PowerStrokes. Most of the time when I go on different diesel sites, most people dont take me seriously when I ask questions because I dont own the specified diesel of the site. I just wanted to let yall know that I am NOT here to talk sh** lol

Sorry for the long post.

I've never seen a stack without a bracket to hold it in place. It's simple though, they just look like u-bolts or something. Oh and as for the chip I'd go with a DP tuner.
