This look like a bad water pump?

Well I had a few drips coming from the pump area so I replaced it before I went on my hunting trip. Noticed the fins of the old pump had been rubbing on the pump housing, this can't be normal.. is it? If its OE that 158k miles.

You think so?
It wasn't leaking much just a few drips but I was going hunting and I didn't want it to fail when I was far away from home! Guess it could have took a crap at any time!
