What did I do???

As mentioned in my first post, I just bought my first 2002 F250 PSD and have been very happy with it. This past weekend I towed our boat up to the lake for a bass tournament. On the trip home I was on a very short freeway enterance and had to stomp the throttle to get in front of a big rig. This is the first time since I bought it that I have run the RPM's over 3K, for starters it was a nice black smoke show not to mention the turbo whistle!! BUT most important, this thing now runs like a scalded dog!! Is it just my imagination or did I blow a bunch of power robbing crud out of my motor? What ever happend, I like it even more now
Any reason for the sudden increase in power?

you woke it up hahaha. i had to throw that in there. i am not sure why there is more power now. could be that you cleaned some soot or carbon out of it.

these things are made to be driven, DRIVE THEM HARD. dont abuse them. but yeah they need some good workin now n then. Its great for em. Wait til you get a chip on that thing and other supporting mods..
