02 7.3 PowerStroke rebuild info needed

looking to buy a engine rebuild kit for my 02 7.3 powerstroke. Any suggestions???. I live in the south east United States. I have built many gas burnerz, this is my first diesel. I don't want to get taken to the cleaners and i want a quality product, i know you get what you pay for. This is gonna become a daily driver for me.

I bought the kit from northern auto parts. It's 1299 and has nearly everything except injector o-rings. The kit has big-name stuff too, like Mahl pistons and Clevite bearings.

Forged rods would be #1 on the list. Then have the rotating assembly balanced (crank and rods).

Thanks folks,.. any links and pricing would be most appreciated. I have no clue where to start this job, I am not gonna rush through it at all, just want to do my homework before i get started. I am like a giddy school girl wanting to start driving this unit!!! Ready to make my 89 Mustang LX 5.0, 5 speed a weekend ride!!! LOL

Northern Auto Parts: - Ford 7.3 Turbo diesel Powerstroke 1994-2002

Yeah, you don't want to rush through it. I rushed my first 7.3 build, spent way too much, and it cratered a year later. Learning from your mistakes is time consuming and expensive.
