Remote start?

Its getting colder up here, so I want a remote starter for my truck. Im wondering if anyone has installed their own, how difficult it was, and what brand you would recommend.

I installed my own, it was very easy because I was provided directions from KC Auto Sound. I can tell you that I would NOT recommend Code Alarm. Unless you want to buy mine off of me. Brand new in box, lifetime warranty.

lol no thanks, im going to go with Compustar. Thanks for the input, how long did it take? Was it just finding the right wires to tap into?

I installed mine. I cant think off the top of my head what brand it is but it was easy to install. I didn't get the wiring harness so the hardest part what locating the proper wires.

Installing wasn't easy, but it wasn't totally difficult either. Just time consuming. Double checked everything, yada yada yada. Alarm worked great for the first 3 months, then crapped out. Then it took 3 months to get a replacement... which was DOA. Then the next one wouldn't remote start. Now I'm onto #4. Its never left the box.
