Which one is fuel feed and which is fuel return

Im having some fuel issues and was wondering if anyone could tell me out of the 2 lines/ports in the engine bay if the lower or upper is the fuel feed? I tried following the lines but they get turned around under the alternator and I cant tell which one is fuel feed. Im trying to finish my veggie oil conversion and this is holding me up.

thanks

The one on the top drivers side of the fuel bowl is the return line.

well went to switch wires around but its dummy proof since one lug is thicker then the other. I think I just need to bleed the air out of my lines
