Hot shots oil additive?

I cant really find any independent reviews of the stuff. I just bought my truck a couple of month ago and its got 127,000 miles on the odo so I figured it could use a good cleaning to get some gunk out of it. Just wondered if anyone here has had any issues good or bad with it.

Most people here will say that Rev-x is superior to the Hot Shot. I have no personal experence though

RevX = sex in a 4oz bottle..
It makes things run smoother, feels great, and you pay way too much for it!

I don't have personal experience with it either. If you are looking for something to flush your motor, you should consider AMSOIL Engine and Transmission Flush. This is a new formula this year and uses light oil technology and detergents, not solvents to clean your engine up before adding new oil. It is safe to dispose of it with your waste oil too.

Like I said above, RevX is awesome (from experience). There are a ton of guys on here that swear by it.
It also is a detergent, not a solvent. But you'll pay a lot for 8oz ($70).. Luckily I had the money laying around at that time
or I never would forked out that much cash for 2/3 a beer cans worth of oil..

I imagine that amsoils is cheaper and does the same thing. So I'd talk to Willie.

I'm having good results with the Rev-X. No romps, easier starts & quieter. BTW PHP sells it & they have the best price I've found.

how long does this rev-x last for. that is a crazy price for 8 lil ouces.

Lasts as long as the oil change. 8oz. the first time, 4oz. after that. I've got about 3500 on oil w/8oz, gonna add 4oz at oil change. After next OC plan on sending to Blackstone for an anal. Supposed to extend OC but IDK yet

They say revx is "activated" under harsh conditions. Well, I've had 8oz in my truck and I've made sure that it had as many chances to "activate" as possible.. lol!
And yes, Revx is awesome. But I'm open to try other stuff.
