What Is Everyone's Oil Preferance?

Just wondering what kind of oil everone is using in their trucks? Is synthetic worth the extra money?

I just run Shell Rotella T 15w40 in my truck... I've considered switching to synthetic, but damn the cost of the change would kill me haha.

Shell Rotella-T. I'm never gonna run over 5k on an oil change anyways, so the extra cost for synthetic is not practical IMO.

I change mine every 3k just for the fact mine has 202k miles, so I would be paying easily over $100 per oil change if I were running synthetic.

I'm running Rotella 5w40 Synthetic. Cold weather starts are soooo much nicer with it. Plus, I'll put maybe 6,000 miles on my truck this year, so the cost isn't outrageous. And, I just saw that Autozone has $5 off Rotella Synthetic, so that should put it around $15 a gallon. Before I switched to synthetic, I was running Motorcraft 15w40. Both oils have done well for me, and Blackstone agrees.
