banging sound out of tailpipe (cy8 cackle?)

I have had my 01 truck for about 10k now. I have it running well, but I have a banging noise coming from the exhaust. I had to switch cyl 8 injector a while back. I used an AD not the long lead. I am hearing cackle to a point up at the motor. Not a big deal for me. The weird thing is I am hearing something similar out of the tailpipe. I dont have a cat on the truck(did not come with one) I do have a 4 inch straight thru muffler and 4" tail pipe. My wies 99 has some cackle but no banging from the exhaust.(she has a cat and stock muffler) My truck runs fine, no issues but always has had this auwful banging from the exhaust. It sounds just like a bad or loose lifter,(which would be cyl 8 cackle) but why out the exhaust?

Same bangy noise at the exhaust and an extra crack at the motor noice for me? Runs like fine though
