7.3 high idle

I read a post on the 6.0 where you can add a high idle switch. Can this be done on the early 99 7.3 also If so does any one have a link to it? Thanks!

Um.. doing the resistor mod with a switch would give you a slightly higher idle, with more fuel...?

i know you can get a chip, dont remember which one though, that you can program a high idle to. someone else might be able to give more detail then i can.

i dont know about the switch but any custom tuned tunes would have high idle on them. i have a php fu chip so i have about 20 differnt tunes including high idle from 1000-1600 rpm.
