Good Buy???????

hey guys..
ill try and make this as short and detailed as possible. ive been looking for a 7.3 for a while now always have loved them and know that there the best stroke ford made. with that said im a gas guzzler owner at the moment but think i may have found the truck im looking for and would like some opinions/advice/ any input you guys have.. it would be much appreiciated...

THE TRUCK...
-2001 f350 ex cab short bed.
-190,xxx miles
-great/excellent body condition.
-intake
-exhaust
-piller guages.
-not chipped, far as i know never has been.
-6" lift 36's
-drives good, spools good.
-no funny noises or anything
-no leaks, looked under where the truck had been parked for 2 weeks.. nuthin
thats all that comes to mind right now..

hes asking 10k.. i dont wanna low ball him but i was going to offer 7500-8k..? i know you cant base much off of the details i gave you but im just looking for any input, anything to look for, be aware of, price advice...
i know it has lotta miles and it may start nickle and diming me but what im driving now is too lol..

its a damn good looking truck all black everything.. just hope everything turns out the same..

ive got an appointment with the local diesel shop to get a good detailed check up on it on monday so any input befor then would b great!!

i doubt he will go for 8 personally i wouldnt, i think if ya get 9000-9500 would be good cash to throw at him how does it shift and all??

Intake and exhaust plus gauges mean that sucker has been tuned in its life...

That truck should retail for about 12,500 so the 9 to 10,000 is pretty good price. Its pretty hard to kill a 7.3 so chipped or not as long as it checks out(no smoke,rattle, shifts good etc...) I would buy it in a heart beat. Sounds like it already has on it what you would want to add to it any ways. Just my

not really
the only thing i always did to my trucks(on my second diesel)it was intake,exhaust and gauges
i did got mine for $6700 with 180000 miles (i had to buy tires and ball joints)and it is just a 2x4,auto trans

yes i agree just cuz it has guages n intake doesnt mean it was chipped.. either way..
it drives good from what i could tell and i hope everything checks out at the shop..
yeah its got everything that i would put on it.. mabey throw some different wheels n stuff.. we will see..

i should know monday or tuesday at the latest if shell b mine or not..
