ICP Question

Recently the rig has been doing something a lil wierd. When i get up to cruising speed the truck bucks/jerks here and there and sometimes at idle it will surge a lil. Not much. The needle on the tach barely moves but if you look close you can see it and here the difference in the sound of the motor. Ive been searching all over and the most likely cause is the icp from what i have read. Today, i unplugged the icp and didnt see the surge at idle. I drove it around a lil, but not enough to tell if was doing the buckin jerks. When i parked it, i kept an eye on the tach for a few minutes and nothing. When i hooked it back up, i could see it again. Im assuming that its more than likely my problem, but we all know what assuming get you. Just figured i would post and get some other thoughts on the subject. What yall think??

That what i was thinking, but i just wanted some more input. Is there anything else that could be causing the buckin jerks or have i pretty much narrowed it down? When it does it, it almost feels like the same as when the tranny in my gmc gasser went, but i can watch the tach at cruise and no movement. Also, its showing no codes. I just dont want to go throwing parts at this thing.
