am I cursed?

so last year around this time I had a problem with my 99 f250 Help with 99 7.3l POS

so I sold it after not being able to resolve the problem and for a few other reasons.

bought my f350 and love it but this morning its 36 degrees out and it just cranked and crank for about 30 seconds till I stopped (didnt want to kill the battery. So I plugged it in for maybe 5 minutes and it starts right up. WTF

I have a 1999 and she is super cold blooded, even in the summer I have to let the plugs warm completely up, and if she sits for a few days she is hard to start also. Some guys just make fun of me cause its a Ford, and thier POS chevys are easy starters. (excuse my french)
