I've seen as high as $2200 for a long bed.

Considering new take-off beds aren't as abundant as last the year or two for utility body installs,I would say it's pretty a fair price,if the gate is as straight as the bed is-looks like just a little touch up here and there and buff out the rust stains from the rack it's been sitting on.I tried to hook up Canadian when he rolled,but they were out for a while-but were selling new take-offs for $800 with gate-and had a lot of white ones,I'll be going by there on Monday and check if they have any if you want

I need the bed to be within 100 miles within the Fort Worth area.

If you buy this will it keep you from having to paint at all or will you still have to paint the cab, doors or hood? If it is pristine I would probably go for it. Looks good in the pictures. I called and left him a message this morning. Apparently he finally got pictures to you. They also have my dually bed down there but I found another in better shape for 25% the money. Just got to go pick it up. Still have not found Gregs axle. JJ

I'm still looking for a D135 as well.

As far as the bed, I may offer 800 and see what happens.

LOL Good luck with that. I have bought 3 trucks, 2 utility beds, and 1 pickup bed from them. Not to mention I am there most every month working for them on equipment and they would not drop a dime on the last F550 I bought from them. And to top it off I was dealing directly with "THE MAN" that sits in the little isolation booth. LOL JJ
