What is the Decibel rating for stock horn??

Does anybody know the Decibel rating for the stock horn on our trucks?? i know that it sucks as everyone says lol but does anyone know the actual number?

how many feet from the horn you think we should put the meter?

Last I knew under DOT regs, the horn should be 110db. How ever that is not very loud when you add in traffic noise. When they test the horn it is in a quite sound proof room.

see i wanna buy a horn and they all say theyre like 135db and then 110 at 10 feet or something and every review says how loud they are, and they all say double as loud as a stock horn, but how can 135db up close be that much louder than a stock horn at a car length away and a deisel engine....

im not looking at a train horn, just some of the mini compressor, long hornsss

yeah i was thinking that or two Wolo 417s cuz i could get two of them for about 50 bucks.. i just dont want to spend 50 bucks and it not hardly be louder than stock lol i want ppl to really hear it but i dont want a train horn lol thats just too loud for me well more like to expensive hhaha

you could put one on & if its not loud enough put a second one on
