Another dead battery
Last week the truck wouldn't start. Ok so my 1 red top tested bad at autozone (autozone didn't have 1 in stock) after charging with the truck running for about an hour and the other I didn't get checked at that time, 1st mistake i guess. Later that day I went to another autozone to get the red top and it tested fine, they wouln't replace it for me, the other battery tested bad also so replaced it with a duralast gold, 2nd mistake ??, anyway seems like the truck has been getting slower each day in starting but still at times starts perfect and this afternoon it barely started. Autozone said the new duralast gold was bad so I replaced it under warranty. so much for duralast, more like didn't last. Any ideas what could be going on I have not done any mods and no cell phone chargers or anything is plugged in i have changed nothing.

I thought about that and pulled a wire that I think disconnected it but I have located it to Fuse #22 under the hood which goes to the fusebox under the dash.
This is the test I did.... I disconnected the neg. cable from both batteries and waited about 15 min to make sure the computer things had gone to "sleep". Then I hooked the one end of my test light to the neg. cable and touched the other end to the negative terminal, and started pulling fuses until the test light turned off. Fuse #22, That is how I know it has something to do with the in dash fusebox. Also something that is extremely wierd is that when I would touch the test light like I explained above, the in dash fuse box would make a wierd noise that kinda sounded like a woodpecker, I know its really wierd and I have no clue what would make that happen, ANY IDEAS, ANYONE. When I would touch the fusebox I could even feel it. could be the GEM but how do I test that. Autozone did not find any codes. I also pulled all the fuses and relays in the in dash fuse box and nothing turned the test light off. Could it be a bad fuse box or a bad ground somewhere???
