So much for FASS warranty
Some time ago I bought a FASS system for my '98 Dodge CTD. When I moved UP to the PSD I also removed the FASS system from the old '98. It sat around here for a year or so until I got around to installing it in the 02 PS. I bought new brackets etc to install it in the new 02. It lasted about a month (trip to Oregon) before it was screaming so loud that I had to put the power from it. Total running time is about a month. I contacted the company and of course they refused to honor their life time warranty. They said that I didn't send back in the warranty info within the 30 day window. B.S. I did too but I couldn't prove it. I believe they conveintly lost it when I called for the warranty. I guess "Life time warranty" means as long as it's alive, when it dies guess what "no warranty". Now they want another $250-350 to look it over and fix it with only a 90 day warranty and I know what their warranty is (NOTHING).
I'm not only venting, but also warning others that may buy into this b.s. warranty to send in the paper work as return receive requested mail. But then they'll find another reason to weasel out of it. Thanks for letting me vent. |

Sorry to hear that. I hate companies that don't stand behind their products.

FASS stands by the their warranty as it is written. You recieve a 1 yr warranty from the date of purchase. to recieve the extended liftime warranty, you mustreturn the warranty paperwork on the front page of the install manual with a copy of your receipt within 30 days. costs you a stamp. FASS scans the warranty so they know if you dot your i's and cross your t's. I know for a fact that if you send in this info within 1 yr, they will honor it. A repair on the pump would cost you $175 and a repalcement(new) $375 so get your facts straight. Most companies in this industry have the same standards on warranties.

What BS,,,, not backing your product because of some Pi$$ A$$ excuse about your paperwork
![]() Just like the Insurance Industry, take Any Excuse to back away from responsibility it's just lame..... Good, reputable companies don't do that! They bend over backwards to accommodate their customers problems with their products. Good to know about FASS...... |
