If you are talking about a remote start,I have one.I installed the Ready Remote on mine, works great. It has lots of features. The install was just over 7hrs.I am anal about the connections and making sure everything has heat shrink tubing though.I picked mine up from Autozone for $99.00.It is a DEI product, they make alot of the Higher priced systems.

Which system did you use from autozone? On their site both systems say they aren't compatible with diesel engines.

Ready Remote™ Commitment
#24927...
I paid $99.00 for mine a little over a year ago.It has provisions for the tach signal and wait to start light for a diesel.I will say this..If you are Not 100% on your "A" game in the Automotive electrical area, you probably Dont want to attempt this.It wasnt that hard, just very time consuming.Again,I did not purchase any other products(relays ..etc).I tied the alarm wire into the courtesy light and the output into the horn. You can use other Sirens.Hope this helps.

car starter

If you are looking for a car starter especially remote starter, I think it will be best to select you preferred type at car part.com and ask the dealer to select the best one that fits your need.
