front axle leaking

my front axle i belive is leaking on the passenger side. i noticed it when i was fixing a hole in my oil pan. i wiped it off and drove it around a little bit and when i got to my house i looked at it again but i couldnt tell if it was leaking again. Any ideas of what it could be

The shaft seal inside the diff. You have to pull both axle shafts, remove the diff cover then the carrier bearings, They are installed from the inside out

i also found out that the passenger side hub is wiggling a lot. i had a two friends think it was a wheel seal. but i dont know any way to find out besides pulling it out.
