I ran rotella in my 87 F 250 with a 460 and my 87 F250 6.3 Diesel, and run it in my 2000 7.3 psd. Never had 1 ounce of trouble

Mobil 1 turbo diesel syn is pretty good but around here it's tough to find ability. I prefer valvoline extreme blue 5w-40. It's on sale at NAPA right now. I just bought a case for $19.22 a gallon.

Not trying to change the subject here but a quick question. Is 1 brand of oil filter better for the psd 7.3 than another??

dang i got my valvoline for 12$ a gallon, i used rot, but walmart was out of the rotella, so i got valvoline for this oil change

I have always been told that it is not good on diesels to change brands of oil. Does it really matter?
