4r100 DIY rebuild.
Has anyone here rebuilt their own 4r100 and if so what kind of luck did you have? Between my dad and I we have a lot of mechanical experience and he's rebuilt a few transmissions. Should I take this on to save the $50 an hour labor to have it done by a good shop?

thats a good question. bts vb and tc would be a start. but i dont know what else is upgraded when ones built.

does anyone have a list of the special tools needed for the rebuild so I can decide which I can fab and which I need to borrow from friends?
