Power Mirror Wiring, please help
The OE mirror has a Red, Blue, and two Yellows. I cut the wires at the mirror so they are hanging out of the door. I planned on just splicing the wires into the new mirror so i wouldn't have to pull the door panel. Of course the new aftermarket mirror only has three wires, Purple, Green, and Yellow. Anybody know what goes to what?
And I'll beat you to it right now, don't tell me how easy it is to just take the door panel off... |

I got too used to the pop rivet panels on my wife's car that I tried pulling one of my door panels off on my truck and broke one of the tabs. That is when I remembered that the panel just slides up.

it literally took my a half hour last night to replace both mirrors. that includes removing and reinstalling both panels. the mirrors i got were plug and play but i have to wire the signals and heat up

I did mine yesterday too, super easy. ford did a great design on those panels. mirror plugged in stock harness and seems like a pretty decent quality piece for non-oem.

honestly i like these mirrors better than the oem's. the mechanism for the folding and telescoping feels better built(to me atleast) when i fold or pull it out
