Yikes!!
Driving down the road my '02 F250 jumps to idle. Pressing the pedal to the floor makes no difference. When the pedal is fully released and foot pressure re-applied I'm off and running until it goes to idle again. City or hiway driving it doesn't make much difference. The cruise control works just fine. Anyone have any ideas what might be happening. Love this truck!!

Have you checked the TPS (Throttle position Sensor)?
