Cruise Control Problem

2002 F-250 7.3. Hey guys the truck cruise control will periodically just shut off while driving. Took it to the dealer and they found nothing while driving it like wtf you have to feel it instead of me telling you the problem hmm. Now the other day I was driving and it shut off I tried putting it back on no go tried it again and nothing happened finally got it back on then it shut off on and off for about like 3 minutes.
Finally I got it on and it stayed on. What is happening? These dealers are a holes can't they just diagnose it from me telling them no they have to see it for themselves wow. Thanks for the help!

Chris

well it helps to be able to duplicate the problem themselves, but in this case and with all the TSB's for the cruise control (assuming your truck is between 99-03) they should have checked them and that could have given them a good place to start, but again with out being able to make it happen it kinda becomes and guessing/parts throwing game with your truck and hoping it fixes your problem which can end up costing them and you time and money. I understand what your saying but you gotta look at it both ways, buti agree they it sounds like they could have done more for you then they did.

there was recall last year related to the cruise on these trucks, did you have it done? I think a couple other guys talked about cruise problems like this before having the recall done.

Yeah the recall was done but did not fix the problem. Any other ideas?
