How much for a complete engine rebuilt

Hey ! i was just wondering how much a complete engine rebuilt would cost me approximately. Mine got over half a million without a single issue but the oil pan

but eventualy it will probably die lol and i found a complete wrecked truck, its a 2002 F-250 4x4 auto for $2500, i think this is a good deal, i would probably keep the engine and drivetrain and sell the rest. What do you guys think !

my thought ( and a free bump) is sounds good if the motor is good, Buying that truck is most likey cheaper than rebuilding the motor ( lots of labor). also i like your rig too very clean. i also like that quote in your sig, i sh!t you not i need a ladder to change my oil filter in my truck haha

Thanks man, he says the engine is good and only has about 125000 Miles so its pretty much just broke in hehe. And thats a Bada$$ truck you have, i like the lifted 4 doors !

lol. i just jump onto the tire and use that as my ladder, unless im doing top end work.. ill get a chair lol

those tidewater LB i think go fro about $3100 iirc, just long blocks though, and i would think blueprinted motors would be pretty good, but i dont know if tehy come with forged or PMR's. if anyone knows that would good info to have...

I just paid 5k for completely rebuilt engine longblock, everything swapped over and installed tax included. Check him out , Powerstrokepro.com

ford sells rebuild kits that sit around 1300$-1600 come in standard, 0.10, 0.20, 0.30 , includes just about everything you need..

Nice ! so if you can get oversize piston, probably means that our engine arent sleeved right ?
