Had my baby stolen from me about 6 weeks ago and was unbelievably lucky in that I wasn't killed and I got her back almost unscathed. . . .so I started looking for an anti-theft device and took X JBM X's advice and got Ravelco installed.
It's a pretty slick system, and as long as you don't get carjacked (which I did) there is no way someone is gonna get away with your truck. I figured lighting doesn't strike the same place twice, and this should do. I mean, if you've got a pistola in your face you're gonna make the thing run for them. But I know three other people that have had 250's stolen from them and all those were stolen from their driveway at night. I'm still thinking about putting a cut-off switch on the fuel pump, so if something like this happens again, just flip the switch and they'll only be able to get as far as one bowl of fuel will take them. . . then it's on.
