going from juice w/ attitude to ts performance

ok, the way my truck sits (prior to the ts install) it is a 2001 f250 7.3 automatic with an edge juice w/ attitude that is claimed to make 75 horse on max setting. well last weekend i decided to order a ts chip just to see if it was as "bad a**" as they claim. so i received it today, and installed it. i left the edge on the truck too just so i can have a boost and pyro gauge for the time being. i set the edge on stock and took it for a drive and went through all the tunes on the ts. i obviously opted for the 140 horse power. and one would think that 140 would be a SIGNIFICANT difference than the 75 on the edge, well it almost seems slower than the edge, and it seems to shift a little strange too. i mean i know it is nothing like the tw chip, and i figured if i didn't really like it that i could send it to him for a reburn. long story short, i just want to know if i am just not experiencing the full power due to the edge being hooked up still? or how does that work? i couldn't really find much info on the ts on this site... but searches never work in my favor. any input would be greatly appreciated.

well i pulled the edge today... still runs the same... definitely doesn't feel like an extra "140" horse power at all, feels the same as the edge.

You may have some underlying problems with the truck that's affecting either tuning.
Because you should be able to tell a definite difference.

ya one would think you would be able to tell an immediate difference... i dunno where to even start.

Your not going to see 140hp over stock with stock injectors anyway. I would send your TS chip to one of the custom tuners, they will make your truck run. I think Matt@gearhead,Swamps and TW will put their tunes on that chip. I went from having the Juice with Attitude to DP Tuner and I had A big difference in power, response and I got the tunes I wanted. You will also need the supporting mods done to your truck to maximize power output, like air intake, exhaust and tons of other things. I'm not trying to be a dink, just trying to help ya.

as of right now (i should put all this in my sig i know), i have a 5" straight exhaust, and a k and n intake, i know people say they are horrible, but its almost a 50 50 whether they are good or not. but those are pretty much it for now. oh and a new transmission at 85k haha.

How long has it been since it has had a fuel filter put in it? Maybe it's getting dirty and not giving you the fuel you need.

Have you ever thought why so many people have their TS chips reburnt? I went from the Edge Juice with Attitude and I noticed a difference when I switched. I'm not trying to sell anyones tunes, I was just stating what I noticed.

Oh I know..
I don't even drive a 7.3 and I know that ppl get them reburned..
It's like a getting an SCT for a 6.0l..
They're nice, but nothing like getting a custom tune
