Question Want Fog Lights On Only

I've got the headlight set up where the fog lights only come on with the headlights. I want it where I can use the fog lights only on rainy days or dusk & such. The fog lights give better visibility compared to the headlights IMO. Is there something I can do to the switch or wire something up? Can I buy a later model HL switch to do this?

I did that on a mustang GT I had. I pulled the light switch out and found the wire that fed power to the fog light side of the switch when you turn the lights on. I then cut that wire and ran a new one from the fuse box to that wire so the fog lights had power when ever I flipped the switch. Put the switch back in the dash and was done.Hope this helps with out confusing ya!

The link above was to stop foglights from shutting off when you flick your highbeams on

To turn only the foglights on for a truck that does not let you pull out the knob in the park light position use the link below. I havnt tried it but seen the thread.
