Fuel additives????

Anyone run any??? I tried searching, but didn't come up with any threads. I'm only a 1/4 of a tank into my first tank of diesel through my truck and I added 16oz of Diesel Kleen gray bottle before I filled up to see if it would help with it's running issues. What additives do you guys run?

You're only supposed to use 4oz of that stuff for 25 gallons of fuel . I run diesel clean FWIW, but have also used the BG stuff, and the Ford stuff as well. No difference in power or mileage though

Weird. The website I'm currently looking at and the bottle in my hand both say 8oz per 25 gallons or use 16oz per 25 gallons to raise your cetane level 5 points. I figured I'd use 16oz for the first tank to see if it'll clean any junk that may be in the tank and lines out.

I'll have to go look, I could have sworn.... if so, I didn't use enough in my truck . Maybe I mixed it up with the other additives I've used

I use/sell AMSOIL Cetane Boost and Diesel Fuel Additive Concentrate. I have noticed better milage, quicker starts and less pinging in my truck. There is a few more good products that people use here I am sure they will chime in soon.

I bought my 00 7.3 with like 73k on it after it had set for about 3yrs and had had minimal use in the 3yrs before that and I run a bottle of lucas injector cleaner and diesel fuel treatment through it about once a month to a tank of fuel, i dont expect to gain anything from it but maybe add some life to my injectors.

Lucas products has always done me good before. I'm curious to hear more from Amsoil users. It's not as high as I thought.

i use the ford fuel additive in my 6.0 been running it about a year my tech swares on it but who knows if it is doing anything
