Got my 2005 grille on last night

Take a look. Only took about an hour or so. In my opinion, it looks pretty sweet. I read through the sticky on how to install these grilles and it was a good write up, but this grille was different. Probably because its an XL grille maybe, im not sure. It still worked out good and Im glad I did it. I was either going to do this, or paint the one that was on there black. but doing it this way, I wont have to worry about chips of paint coming off. What do yall think?

Looks good, now you just need some 05+ headlights and you're good to go.

you're right, or at least just get rid of the nasty looking ambers....

Look for a set of 02-04 corner lights to replace the ambers. That's what I did with my '01 F550. I'm still deciding if I want to do an '05 conversion on it.

i noticed that the xl grills are a bit more bare, they dont have the honeycomb insert......

There is a set of 05 Harley headlights here brand new on craigslist here fro 180 with wiring harness They have been on there a week surprised nobody has snagged them yet

I'll be honest, I dont really like the honeycomb any ways. I really like the looks of this XL grill on my truck though....IMO it turned out to look better then I thought....
