disapointed!!!

took my truck drag racing last week for some test and tune and i was let down my truck went slower then it did the week before. i dont get it i drop nearly 300lbs of wait out of my truck and i stacked the 10k mod with a 5.6k resistor with my ts chip and all my truck could muster was a 16.116 at 82.55mph. i ran my truck one th 100hp setting and on the 140 hp setting i when slightly faster on the 140 setting but with turbo surge on the top of the track and i ran it in 4 high both weeks because if i dont it just blows the tires off the back. i even took the 10k mod out to see if it would make a difference but my truck went slightly slower. the previous week my best time was a 15.962 at 81.90mph same track same time of day does anybody have any suggestions on why truck was slower with lee weight

where was the weight you got rid of?? Maybe had something to do with the distribution and maybe more weight over the rear wheels helped w/grip?

The 10k's and such do basically the same thing as the TS does. So they might be fighting for signals in the PCM. Also, temp, air pressure, all kinds of things can affect it. That's less than 2 tenths, so That may have played a part in it. Also, was the track temp and all that the same. That can affect it too.

in the other post you said you had a preturbo leak GET THAT FIXED you should pick up some time. the leak lessens the amount of impact the charger has on the engine.
