00 f250 with 210k and banks stinger plus

This will be my first diesel. Its a 2 owner truck that hasn't pulled too much weight. The owner wants 10,500 for it. I am planning on running it on Biodiesel. What do you guys think. My only concern is the truck becoming a money pit. Thanks

I bought a 2000 with 213K on it for 13,000. The engine is in tip top condition from oil analysis. It's ccLB lariat, so I would say go for it.

try to get maintance records and don't forget to check the condition of the tranny fluid

Need more info.

How well was it maintained? I don't know what the stinger entails, so does it have gauges assuming its programmed? How does it look? If it looks beaten up with only 210k on it then most likely the maintainence isn't there.

With no maintainence record I'd offer 8k for it and spend the money you were GOING to buy it with to go thru and either have a shop replace the worn parts or do it yourself.

Forgot to add!

If records are available, or the truck is flawless in shape then 10k is a steal!

maintain also forgot to mention that if you are a member you can get an oasis report on the truck. Oasis report will tell you all of the dealership history. Might be handy in this case

sorry to bump this but: No records are available on the truck. When I get the vin I'll upgrade to premium to get an oasis. I guess I'm just going for opinions. Assuming standard maintenance what can I expect a F250 to need with that many miles? Thanks again
