Straight Pipe
2001 7.3 w 205K
About a month ago i pulled apart the exhaust coupler right before the muffler and ran for a few days like that. It was way louder than i anticipated so i got a straight through style muffler with dimples on the inside. It got it pretty dang quiet and now i am wondering how it would sound if i took the muffler back out, installed a 3.5" pipe in its place and let it exit out of the rear instead of under the cab like before? I have heard some audio clips but its hard to tell just how loud it really is. thoughts? |
