Only upside to the long bed is that you get a 38 gallon fuel tank. But, I'd rather have the extra room of the crew cab.... But I still ended up with an extended cab.

they both have their pros and cons... more room in the CC but if your like me and want a tool box the shortbed becomes worthless (IMO). The extended cab is very little room but for now it works for me(i got an ext cab long bed). I like them both and the next truck will probably be a CC SB just for the extra room in the cab for kids...

I'm still looking for a CCLB. I want the extra room and longer bed. Also, anyone seen a Crew Cab Extended Cab (if that is what they're called)? I thought I saw one once--it was a 4-door crew cab, but had a little extra length in the cab behind the rear seats to stow stuff.

It's be kind cool--even if it is a long-distance charge to call from the bed to the driver's seat.

I happrned to see one for sale in Dallas that had the three sets of doors. I don't really care for that, but do like the crew cab extended for some inside storage space (emergency gear like clothes, food, etc). Any idea how much it costs to get a crew cab extended about another foot?
