2000 f250 transfer case oil?
I know it has been asked 1000 times but is a little complicated to do a search since I just use my phone to acces the web.
WHAT OIL CAN I USE FOR THE TRANSFER CASE? THANKS |

Your transfer case will take Motorcraft Mercon ATF fluid. Your transmission also takes the same fluid. I believe the transfer case takes 2 quarts and the tranny takes 5.8 quarts. You can also pick it up at autozone or a like place. I use the coastal DexMerc ATF fluid.

Yes use Mercon ATF. The T-case takes 2 quarts, but the transmission takes like 18 quarts, not 5.8...?

Sorry i have a manual transmission and was referring to that. The automatic does take something like 18 quarts.
